Health Leadership Characteristics of the Graduates of the Faculty of Public and Environmental Health, Huachiew Chalermprakiet University
บทคัดย่อ:
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาคุณลักษณะภาวะผู้นำด้านสาธารณสุขของบัณฑิต คณะสาธารณสขศาสตร์และสิ่งแวดล้อม มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ ในด้านความรู้ ความสามารถ ด้านบุคลิกภาพ ด้านวุฒิภาวะทางอารมณ์ด้านมนุษยสัมพันธ์ ด้านความรับผิดชอบ และด้านคุณธรรม รวมทั้งเปรียบเทียบคุณลักษณะภาวะผู้นำด้านสาธารณสุข ตามเพศ สาขาวิชา ลักษณะงาน ประสบการณ์การทำงาน และการเป็นแกนนำกิจกรรมขณะเรียน กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือบัณฑิตคณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์และสิ่งแวดล้อม มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติจำนวน 120 คน ได้จากการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งชั้นภูมิ และสุ่มตัวอย่างอย่างง่ายเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น ผ่านการตรวจสอบความความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.88 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้การทดสอบที่การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว และวิธีทดสอบของเชฟเฟ
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า
1. คุณลักษณะภาวะผู้นำด้านสาธารณสุขของบัณฑิตคณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์และสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ในรายด้านพบว่าด้านบุคลิกภาพ ด้านมนุษยสัมพันธ์ และด้านความรับผิดชอบ อยู่ในระดับมาก ส่วนด้านความรู้ ความสามารถ ด้านวุฒิภาวะทางอารมณ์ และด้านคุณธรรมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง
2. การเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างคุณลักษณะภาวะผู้นำด้านสาธารณสุขของบัณฑิต คณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์และสิ่งแวดล้อม พบว่าสาขาวิชา ลักษณะงาน ระยะเวลาการทำงาน ทำให้คุณลักษณะภาวะผู้นำสาธารณสุขของบัณฑิตแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p < 0.05) ส่วนเพศและการเป็นแกนนำกิจกรรมระหว่างเรียน ไม่ส่งผลต่อความแตกต่างด้านคุณลักษณะภาวะผู้นำสาธารณสุขของบัณฑิต
ผลการวิจัยครั้งนี้มีข้อเสนอแนะว่าควรมีการสร้างเสริมคุณลักษณะผู้นำสาธารณสุขแก่นักศึกษา คณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์และสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยสอดแทรกในการเรียนการสอนในวิชาชีพของแต่ละสาขาวิชาและสร้างเสริมด้านความรู้ ความสามารถ ด้านวุฒิภาวะทางอารมณ์ และด้านคุณธรรม โดยสอดแทรกไปกับการเรียนการสอน การจัดโครงการคุณธรรม การอบรม และการประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการ
The purposes of this research were to study health leadership characteristics including knowledge, personality, emotional quotient, human relations, responsibility, and moral principles of the graduates of the Faculty of Public and Environmental Health, Huachiew Chalermprakiet University , and also compare health leadership characteristics according to gender, major subjects, job characteristics, work experience, and leadership of the students activities. One hundred and twenty graduates of the academic year 2006 from the Faculty of Public and Environmental Health, Huachiew Chalermprakiet University were randomly selected through stratified random sampling technique, according to their major subjects and gender. Data were collected from questionnaires developed by the researcher. The reliability coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.88. Statistical methods used for data analysis were t-test, one way analysis of variance, and Scheffe’s test.
The results of this research were as follows :
1. The overall health leadership characteristics among Public and Environmental Health graduates were at the high level. It was found that personality, human relations and responsibility were at a high level, whereas knowledge, emotional quotient, moral principles were at a medium level.
2. The comparison of health leadership characteristics on major subjects, job characteristics and work experience were significantly different at 0.05 level, but the comparison of health leadership characteristics on gender and leadership of the students activities were not significant.
The results from this research suggested that the promotion of health leadership characteristics of the students in Faculty of Public and Environmental Health was necessary. It could be accomplished by intervening in the study class of students in each major subject and the knowledge, emotional quotient, and moral principles could also be promoted in classes , moral projects, training and workshops.
